RUFUS MILLER
Rufus Miller is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He is the son of Dominic Miller, Sting’s longtime guitarist, and spent six years himself as a guitarist in Sting’s touring band.
Today, he channels his experience from major international stages into authentic and distinctive original work. On stage, he performs as a tight-knit trio with Andy Thompson on bass and Bob Kessels on drums. Their concerts have a natural dynamic arc, starting intimately and gradually building to an energetic finale, all while maintaining a strong connection with the audience.
His new album, Basement, has received significant media attention. A review in Headliner magazine gives it a 90% rating and states: “Basement is a damn fine chapter… Miller masterfully defies genres.”
This year’s Krásný ztráty festival will welcome this fabulous guitarist and singer, a captivating force of nature. We have a lot to look forward to!
