Followers: The Kutná Hora Sect, or From Healing to Total Manipulation

The investigative podcast series *Stoupenci* details several months of investigation and sensitive examination into the lives of people who fell under the spell of the healer Richard Šiffer from Kutná Hora.

The authors of the series, Antonín Viktora and Martin Štorkán, will discuss how the so-called Kutná Hora sect operated. Using this case as an example, they will demonstrate how easy it is to become involved in such a sect and how a skilled manipulator can take complete control of people’s lives.

Martin Štorkán (speaker) – a Czech journalist and investigative reporter (focusing on scandals, corruption, disinformation and social issues), who works for Český rozhlas – primarily in the Radiožurnál news department and on the iROZHLAS.cz website. 
Antonín Viktora (speaker) – screenwriter and creator of documentary projects, writer of the script for Radiožurnál’s podcast and documentary series entitled Operation VIKING
